As SOFR products become available for you to quote please follow the below instructions to add the new products to your Marksman account and create a profit table.

How to add products

Within Marksman, go to your account settings. Select "Customer Account Settings" and then click on "Marksman Settings".

In order to add a product to be priced in the rates screen, move the correct product name from the "Excluded Product Categories" to the "Product Categories Chosen for Display" by highlighting the product name, clicking on "Add selected products", and then clicking "Save" at the bottom of the page.

How to create and attach a profit table

Within Marksman, go to your account settings. Choose "Profit & Cost Manager", click "Create Profit Tables" and give the table a description and set up the amounts. Click "save new" before exiting the screen.

Go back into "Profit & Cost Manager" and click on "Attach Profit to Investors/Products". You will need to attach each investor and product to a profit table.

Marksman/Encompass field mappings

In Marksman you will be able to select the Encompass Loan Program, Marksman investor, and new SOFR products you want to map. By doing this, it will assist users by selecting the appropriate product in Marksman based on the loan program in Encompass.

productInvestorMappings

Select the SOFR product you want automatically populated in Marksman dependent upon the corresponding Encompass Loan Program. If you would like the Encompass Loan Program to be updated if the product is changed in Marksman, ensure the check box next to "Map Encompass Loan Program on Import" is selected.

SOC 2® - SOC for Service Organizations: Trust Services Criteria
Report on Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality or Privacy. These reports are intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that need detailed information and assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses to process users’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems. These reports can play an important role in:

  • Oversight of the organization
  • Vendor management programs
  • Internal corporate governance and risk management processes
  • Regulatory oversight

Similar to a SOC 1 report, there are two types of reports: A type 2 report on management’s description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls; and a type 1 report on management’s description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of the design of controls. Use of these reports are restricted.
