Ok, maybe alliteration isn’t my forte, but quickly passing a mortgage quote to a prospect? Now that’s more my game. In a fast-paced, ever-changing industry such as mortgage lending, two minutes often makes all the difference in the world when first talking with a prospect. We understand that at Mortech, and we want to give you tools to make your job as efficient as possible. One of those tools is the ‘Scenarios’ option on the Rates page.
Say you have a borrower on the phone that doesn’t really know what they want for a product. You can give them a few options, all easily accessible from your rates page within Marksman. Up to five scenarios can be saved as defaults for your pricing needs. Nobody knows your business and clientele better than you, so why not customize your Marksman account to your workflow?
Some examples we’ve seen in the past for what people have utilized these scenarios for are:
- 30 Yr Conv
- 15 Yr Conv
- 5/1 ARM
- 30 Yr VA
- 30 Yr FHA
While this tool is designed to enable a quick transition from general scenario to general scenario, we also have functionality for specific scenarios as well. If you have a customer that knows the product(s) they are looking for, go ahead and save them as a prospect in your pipeline. In doing so you are able to save three products to their profile, which really improves efficiency if they were to call you back. Remember, this is in addition to the five scenarios you can save on your rates page, meaning that you can save some general scenarios for broader use, as well as save specific scenarios for specific customers. That means you get the best of both worlds!
